    Ingredients:

200g flat rice noodles (kwetiaw), soaked or boiled until soft

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1 egg

100g chicken or shrimp (optional), sliced

1 bunch of bok choy or mustard greens, chopped

2 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)

    1 tbsp soy sauce

    1 tbsp oyster sauce

    1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

    Salt and pepper to taste

    1 tbsp cooking oil

    Chili slices (optional, for spice)

    Instructions:

    Prepare the Noodles
If using dried kwetiaw, soak in warm water until soft or follow the package instructions. If using fresh noodles, separate them gently.

    Heat the Pan
In a wok or large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Sauté the garlic until fragrant.

    Cook the Protein
Add the chicken or shrimp. Stir-fry until cooked through.

    Add the Egg
Push the protein to the side, crack the egg in, scramble it, then mix with the protein.

    Add the Vegetables
Toss in the chopped greens. Stir-fry for a minute until wilted. Bostoto

    Add the Noodles and Sauces
Add kwetiaw, sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to coat the noodles evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Final Touches
Stir-fry for another 1–2 minutes until everything is well mixed and hot. Add chili slices if you like it spicy.

    Serve Hot
Enjoy your kwetiaw while it’s still steaming!
