Beef jerky is a popular snack known for its rich flavor and long shelf life. This recipe will guide you through making your own delicious beef jerky at home.
Ingredients:
500g beef (sirloin or flank steak)
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
Instructions:
Slice the beef into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
In a bowl, mix all marinade ingredients.
Add beef strips to the marinade and let it sit for at least 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
Preheat the oven to 70°C (160°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Rtp
Arrange the beef strips on the tray without overlapping.
Bake for 4-6 hours, flipping occasionally, until dry and firm.
Let it cool before storing in an airtight container.
