So I’ve been building this small side project — kind of a blog + resource hub for creative freelancers. It’s been exciting but also exhausting. I’m handling the content, visuals, outreach, everything… alone. I don’t have a budget for ads, and cold emails barely get replies. Social media feels like shouting into the void most days. Has anyone here figured out a way to get actual visibility and growth when you’re working solo? Any honest tips or creative strategies that actually worked for you — even just a little?

I’ve totally been there — the early days are tough and feel super discouraging. But the fact that you’re writing about something meaningful already sets you apart. Sometimes it just takes one good placement or a community that clicks with your message. Keep sharing — you never know who it’ll help.

I was in a really similar situation last year with my travel blog. Thank you so much for the encouragement and suggestions! It really helps to know others went through the same slow start. I’ll definitely look into the platform you mentioned — sounds like it could be exactly what I need. Big thanks again to everyone who took the time to respond, I truly appreciate it.
